My memory goes back to the year the University of Kentucky basketball team became a very interpersonal part of my psyche. The year was 1978, and my blood started running true blue. I can still hear the sound of the basketball being arithmetically bounced across the across the hardwood floors, and the swishing sound of the net as the ball is tediously and precisely tossed high into the air to make another basket. These sounds of long ago still echoe in my ear and mind.
The Mecca of basketball, Rupp Arena was filled with screaming fans rooting on some of the most memorable Wildcats of days gone by. The masters of the game; Melvin Turpin, the great Kyle Macy and Sam Bowie will continue to play forever in the back of mind. Coach, Joe B. Hall stalks the sidelines sending the Wildcats of yesteryear to many Big Blue victories. Joe B. Hall led the University of Kentucky to their fifth NCAA championship that year, finishing out his career at UK in the eighties with a record of 297 wins and 100 losses.
I was about ten or eleven when my dad and I started watching the Wildcats on the RCA family color television. My father instilled the excitement of winning into the very fiber of my mind. The love of sports and Rupp Arena was brought to life from that old color television screen. I had the best seat in Rupp Arena from my vantage point looking towards the old television. I would comfortably get all sacked out on the living room floor. My bag of potato chips in one hand, and my bottle of orange crush soda in the other I would comfortably be transported into the home of the University of Kentucky Wildcats, Rupp Arena.
I will be thirty-eight this year, but my dad has established a love for basketball which has never died. Kentucky did’t always play as well as they should have, and those were the times when dad would usually break out the Rolaids and the Winston Cigarettes and wade out those most memorable heart clinchers to the very end. So did it really matter if the Wildcats lost or won the game? Yes in a way, but for the love of the game is why my father and I keep rooting the Cats on to their next victory.

Organized sports are everywhere and are an integral part of a person`s belonging. No matter what age, gender, or racial group you are classified as, you can almost always find a sports league to join. Organized sports are important because they make a person feel more confident but just like in anything else, there are problems associated with them.
Most of us athletes know how boring sitting on the bench is. You feel that all your hard work at practice was in vain and feel that you have to “suck up” to the coach just to be able to play. Most of these kids get heartbroked, depressed, and feel useless as their dream of becoming the next Babe Ruth or Michael Jordan goes down the drain. Hours upon hours of practice and hard work to just sit there and watch your teammates play is one of the worst feeling a person could have.
Playing everyone would be simple solution but it`s not that easy. Most high school and higher level organizations focus on winning as its prime importance and coaches don`t want to take the risk of losing for the sake of playing everyone. The kids who keep playing, even though they don`t get as much playing times as the rest of the team, have the biggest hearts of anybody out there. They just want to be a part of the team and won`t quit for anything. But when the game that is supposed to be fun turns into something that feels more like a job, then maybe these people should turn to the sport of bodybuilding.
When you work towars achieving a fitness goal , your confidence levels rise while trying to achieve. You will do better at work or school, become more social, and have the attitude that anything is possible. In bodybuilding, there is no “team” about it. You are the only one responsible for the results you get and if you mess up, no one gets hurt except for yourself. Doing a posedown in front of thousands of people is a greater feeling than any accomplishment you can receive on an organized sports team.
I`m not telling you to quit the sports you`re currently playing. If you are passionate about whatever sport you play and love playing no matter the circumstances, then stick with it and never give up. Michael Jordan was cut from his varsity basketball team when he was in the tenth grade and went on to become the greatest basketball player to ever play the game. You have to have the wisdom to determine if the sport you`re playing is going to make your life better. If it`s dragging you down, then maybe you should try something else. LATER

In April, 8 NBA teams from each conference qualify to play in the championship playoffs. The top three teams based on their regular season record are chosen for the top three seeds based on the NBA seeding system. The next five teams with the best records take the other five seeds. The one difference of the NBA seeding system from any other American major league sport is the fact that the division championships are not guaranteed home court advantage in the playoffs. Rather, home court advantage is based on the team’s regular season record and not on who won in the division.
In the NBA seeding system, the team given the first seed will face off against the team given the eight seed; the second seed will face off against the seventh seed and so forth. Therefore, the highest advantage a team can get is to have a high seed so they can face a weaker team. The team with the best regular season record is given the home court advantage.
Once the playoffs begin, they follow a tournament format. The team’s face each other is a best of seven series. The first team to win four rounds gets to advance into the next round. Teams are not reseeded once the playoffs begin therefore the first or eight seed team who wins will face off with the fourth or fifth seed team that wins. The second and seventh winner will face off against the third and sixth winner, therefore keeping the balance between the teams.
The final playoff round is between the top teams in each conference in another best of seven series of games. The NBA finals are typically held in June. Most of the time, but not always, the Most Valuable Player Award will go to someone on the winning team. The exception to this was in 1969 when Jerry West won the MVP award even though his team did not win the NBA Finals.
Our NBA Playoffs Betting Systems are ranked extremely ranked well betting at the sportsbook review at our partner site.
